This course covers two major types of disability leave:
- Employer-provided leave: Sick leave, short-term disability leave, long-term disability leave and catastrophic leave - leaves provided by your organization's leave policies; and
- Leave required by law: Leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act or similar state laws, leave as a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act, workers' compensation leave and leave for organ or bone marrow donation.
