We already have an LMS (Learning Management System). Do I need CourseAvenue Deliver? [Top]

No. CourseAvenue Studio produces standards-compliant (AICC and SCORM) courseware that can be delivered through your existing LMS. CourseAvenue Deliver is for people that either do not have an LMS or for those who need to reach another audience outside the scope of their LMS installation.
Do customers with an existing LMS ever use Deliver? [Top]

Yes. In some cases an existing LMS is configured to serve a given audience (e.g. internal employees) and there is a need to target a new audience (e.g. distributors or suppliers). In this case, either re-configuring or purchasing additional "seats" of the existing LMS is either cost prohibitive or simply undesirable.
Can I use CourseAvenue Deliver for tracking other training such as Instructor Led Training for my organization? [Top]

No. Deliver was designed as a basic platform for the launching, tracking, and reporting of courses developed using CourseAvenue Studio.
Is Deliver customizable? [Top]

Deliver is designed to allow you to add a banner to your organization, thus giving you a somewhat customized look and feel. This banner can be seen from the time the learner logs in and all throughout their session.
What features found in a traditional LMS are included in CourseAvenue Deliver? [Top]

In addition to launching a course, Deliver tracks your progress and reports your score to the LMS. Deliver will mark your position in the course and also track the sections that you have started and those you have completed. From an administrative perspective, Deliver allows you to set up catalogs of courses and groups of learners. You can assign groups to catalogs, thus limiting what a learner can see. Reporting functionality allows you to look at results by learner or by course.
