How It Works: Four Web-Based Components

Much more than an e-learning software tool, CourseAvenue Studio is a course creation platform with five advanced productivity components.

1. The Editor

The powerful editor component enables many people with different job skills and responsibilities to collaboratively work on course development simultaneously—from many locations.

2. The Community Forum

The community forum provides a virtual meeting space where the course development team can exchange ideas, post updates, etc.

3. The Media Library

The library provides a central repository for audio, video and images.

4. The Course Player

The course player combines your course content, code to make it work with any SCORM and AICC conformant Learning Management System (LMS), and a 'skin' that presents the course to the learner via a web browser. The skin's look (colors, branding, etc.) can be customized. The Course Player comes in two versions:

1. The Accessibility Player (Section 508 certified). or
2. The Standard Player

The Accessibility Player is suitable for everyone, including those with disabilities. The standard course player is only suitable for those without disabilities.
